UPDATE - APRIL 16, 2026:
Thank you so much for everyone's interest! We've recieved hundred's of inquiries and dozens of proposals that have filled our email inbox! We will now be reviewing all submissions and will let anyone know if we have any questions. This RFP is officially closed.
Kitsap Community Foundation is seeking a website development partner to help build a new version of KitsapFoundation.org.
Our website is an important tool for connecting donors, nonprofit partners, advisors, and community members with opportunities to support and strengthen the Kitsap Peninsula. As our work continues to grow, we are preparing to launch a redesigned site that is more accessible, intuitive, and reflective of the community we serve.
The design and user experience strategy for the new site will be led by KCF’s creative partner. Through this RFP, we are inviting experienced web developers to collaborate with our team to build a fully functional, responsive WordPress website based on approved design files.
We are especially interested in working with developers who have experience building websites for nonprofit organizations, who are familiar with the Kitsap area, and who understand the importance of accessibility, usability, and long-term sustainability. We are specifically seeking to partner with a developer based in the Kitsap Peninsula or the broader Pacific Northwest region.
Project Timeline: KCF anticipates selecting a development partner in May 2026, with development occurring through summer and early fall. The new website is expected to launch in November 2026.
Proposal submittals are officially closed - thank you to everyone that reached out with questions and proposals! We look forward to reviewing them!
We look forward to partnering with a development team that shares our commitment to serving the Kitsap community.
