Everyday people. Extraordinary impact.

Hometown Heroes are people who commit to a legacy gift to support the causes they care about through

Kitsap Community Foundation.

Most often, through a bequest in their will or trust, these gifts ensure that their values live on and our community continues to grow stronger. Some are lifelong volunteers or donors. Others were once helped by the very nonprofits they now choose to uplift. What unites them all is a deep love for Kitsap – and a desire to help it thrive long after they’re gone.

We celebrate Hometown Heroes with gatherings that honor their generosity, share stories, and shine a light on the impact their future gifts will make.

Becoming a Hero is simpler than you might think. Reach out to our CEO, Tina O’Brien, CAP, and together we’ll make sure the causes you care about are supported—forever.
