Celebration Of Philanthropy
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:
I am sorry to say that we’ve decided to postpone the Kitsap Celebration of Philanthropy until 2021.
The central purpose of the Celebration is to honor Kitsap County’s Philanthropy Award recipients and celebrate the good work of our County’s nonprofits. Even though we had designed a unique event that provides social distancing, we weren’t able to attract our usually-sized crowd of people to the Celebration.
So we feel it’s best to postpone until next year when fingers crossed, circumstances will allow for our normal gala event with a raucous crowd that can honor our County’s Philanthropy Award recipients correctly and bring together our community to fully celebrate local philanthropy.
I feel like we gave it a valiant try, but it seems that now is not the right time for our County’s Celebration of Philanthropy. So we’ve asked the Award recipients to be patient and look forward to next year’s Celebration. Hopefully, by next spring the pandemic will have passed and we’ll be able to honor these superb philanthropists and all of our community with an event that truly celebrates their accomplishments and brings us all together!
I’m deeply grateful to our sponsors, Board of Directors, Celebration Planning Committee, and staff for all of their hard work to reach out to the community and champion this grand event.
If you purchased tickets to the Celebration, expect to hear from us. We’ll contact you to ask you if you’d like your tickets refunded.

Thank you for your support and understanding as we navigate through this pandemic. We know that we will get through this together.
Best wishes,
Kol
