It is our policy at KCF that all personal information, including name, postal address, phone number, and email address, are private and confidential. Donors rely on our integrity to keep personal information only for foundation use.
The information we collect includes the personal information provided during our personal meetings, phone conversations, correspondence, and other communications. This information is not used outside the foundation and its representatives, without donor consent and Board approval. All public mailings including personal information about donors' funds for promotional purposes are cleared with the donor before printing and distribution to the public. Furthermore, we will not knowingly do business with any mailing/database service that shares personal information. We honor donor requests to keep gifts anonymous.
When browsing the Kitsap Community Foundation Web site, the public does so anonymously. We do not collect personal information, including email address or IP address (the Internet address of your computer). Those signing up to receive information on the Kitsap Community Foundation voluntarily give us their name, e-mail address, home or business postal address, telephone and fax numbers, and other information. This information is kept strictly confidential. The Kitsap Community Foundation has a commitment to privacy and to its donors.
Accordingly, the personal information provided to us is stored in a secure location and is accessible only by staff and/or designees of the Board of Directors.
