Jeff Phillips `70 Degrees and Sunny’ Family Fund:
After losing a beloved son and brother to juvenile diabetes in 2005, the family directed memorial donations to this donor advised endowment fund to continue Jeff’s legacy to support basic needs, develop the economy, improve the quality of life, protect the environment, provide cultural enrichment, encourage excellence, and promote understanding and cooperation in Kitsap County and its surrounding communities.

Kitsap Youth Partnership Shared Fund:
This fund accepts private charitable dollars from a wide variety of sources to be used to match public dollars awarded during a competitive grant process. Fund advisors from KCF, United Way and the Kitsap County Commission on Children and Youth recommend recipients for public grants through a formal Request for Proposal format, with the opportunity for more match from private dollars from the Shared Fund.

Fred and Marvel Hill Scholarship Fund:
This endowed scholarship fund represents the transfer of assets from the now-dissolved Fred Hill Foundation to the Kitsap Community Foundation. The family wishes to support the educational goals of high school seniors or those with a GED equivalent in the North Kitsap School District and funding is applied to any accredited educational/vocational institution.
