KCF Acorn Classic Golf Tournament

During the past several years, EHL Insurance and Fred Hill Materials, working together along with the outstanding efforts of their employees, have hosted the KCF Acorn Classic Golf Tournament. The net proceeds of the event benefit the Kitsap Community Foundation, helping us continue to build our capacity to serve the needs of the community.

This past August, the EHL-Fred Hill Acorn Classic raised $28,000, with plans to grow this even more in 2008 by adding a Major Tournament Sponsor. Thank you EHL and Fred Hill Materials!

KCF Annual Celebration of Philanthropy

Our annual event recognizes the efforts and impact that volunteer, business and community leadership giving has made in Kitsap County. Through a nominating and screening process, award recipients are selected based on length of service, innovation, community impact, and commitment to giving back to their community.

Don and Elizabeth Drury received the 2007 Hannah Langer Spirit of Philanthropy Award given each year at the KCF's Celebration of Philanthropy event. Don and Elizabeth are inspiring examples of community leaders supporting the mission of the KFC.

In addition to the awards, the ‘COP’ is one of KCF’s major operational funding events. A special thanks to the continued support of attendees and to our generous sponsors.
