Graphic Design Intern for Kitsap Strong Initiative
As a graphic arts disciple, you know the power behind dynamic visual design. Here's your opportunity to take your creative talent to your community: Kitsap Strong, a collaborative effort to alleviate poverty in Kitsap County, led by the Kitsap Community Foundation, is looking for a graphic design intern to start immediately. You'll interpret the Kitsap Strong strategy and mission—to alleviate intergenerational poverty in Kitsap by reducing ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) and building resiliency—by creating a series of educational infographics and refining our web design.
You will work closely with the Kitsap Community Foundation Communications Specialist to create materials for both on and offline use. A graphic design internship at Kitsap Strong primes you for future in-house work at other companies, nonprofits, and freelance work. You'll benefit from the guidance of our communications coordinator and leave the experience with some polished work to add to your portfolio.
Schedule is extremely flexible and telecommuting for much of the work is possible.
Pay is for 20 hrs./week for 6 weeks, or equivalent time in coordination with intern's schedule.
In addition, we respect our interns and the work they produce for us, and pay as such: offering $12/hour compensation for this part-time internship.
