Sponsorship Opportunities
The Kitsap Community Foundation has two major fund raisers each years: The Celebration of Philanthropy & Grants Award Ceremony and the EHL-Fred Hill Annual Acorn Golf Classic. We welcome the opportunity to increase participation in these important community events.
Volunteer Program Volunteer support is an important part of the success of the Foundation. Volunteers with a professional background sit on Board Committees for Grant making, Finance, Communications, Fund Development and Governance. Volunteers also play a vital role in the success of both of our annual fund raisers; Celebration of Philanthropy and the EHL-Fred Hill Acorn Golf Classic. To become a volunteer, please contact us at 360.698.3622 or kcf@kitsapfoundaton.org.
Partnering with the Greater Tacoma Community Foundation
To more efficiently and effectively manage gifts to KCF endowed funds, they are transferred to the Kitsap Community Foundation Fund at the Greater Tacoma Community Foundation (GTCF) for investment. The written agreement between KCF and GTCF specifies that these funds will be returned to KCF upon written request of the KCF Board of Directors.
Upon request, KCF will make the names of investment managers and fees charged available. The GTCF Investment Committee provides oversight of investment managers. Both GTCF Board of Directors and the KCF Board of Directors review fund performance.
